RULES for Pet Admission
We understand the importance of traveling with our dogs and pets. We strive to be a dog-friendly establishment for well-behaved dogs of considerate and responsible guests.
Therefore, we have created coexistence rules in consideration of other guests and inn workers.
RESERVATIONS WITH DOGS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED UPON PRIOR REQUEST AND CONFIRMATION BY THE RURAL ACCOMMODATIONS.
- Only 1 or 2 pets per room (2 small or 1 medium) with a maximum total weight of about 30 kg are allowed. All types of animals classified as highly dangerous, illegal, non-companion animals, and/or those weighing over 30 kg are excluded.
- A supplement will be charged for the dog’s accommodation in the room according to the season and weight, for special room cleaning.
- Up to 9 kg: €15/night (VAT included) per dog
- Over 9 kg: €25/night (VAT included) per dog
- The dog must always be on a leash within the entire estate (including outdoor common areas). Pets must not be left unleashed. In common areas, the animal must be on a short leash, and the owner must ensure the animal’s good behavior and coexistence with other guests and/or other accommodated pets.
- For everyone’s safety, your pet must never be left alone in the room. If you need to be absent exceptionally, you can leave it in its carrier (suitable for its size, with water and food in appropriate containers) so that Technical and Cleaning Services can access your room without complications. This is to avoid possible disturbances, such as barking or whining, to other guests as well as damage to the room’s furniture. The inn reserves the right to cancel daily cleaning or maintenance of your room and declines any responsibility arising from the non-compliance with this rule.
- Your pet is not allowed to relieve itself in the entire inn’s premises or in the gardens around the house. The guest is responsible for cleaning up after their pet. It can mark, but the owner must pour clean water over the marking. We have disposal bags available for you.
- Do not bathe your pet in the room’s bathroom, nor use guest towels to dry it. For hygiene reasons, your pet cannot sleep on the beds, sofas, or other furniture (a bed/blanket will be provided for this purpose). Bedding or bath linens belonging to the accommodation should never be used for the pet.
- The pet owner is responsible for its hygiene and any damage to cleanliness, furniture, or belongings it may cause.
- Owners are obliged to keep the animal in optimal hygienic and sanitary conditions during the stay, with up-to-date veterinary documentation.
- Be kind and discreet with other guests who may be allergic or uncomfortable with the presence of your pet.
As a pet owner staying at the inn, you must comply with current regulations regarding the animal’s behavior and any possible damage to third parties or the accommodation’s property. You will be responsible for any actions arising from your pet’s behavior, absolving the inn of all responsibility.
If these rules are not respected, POSADA SIERRA DE IBIO reserves the right to cancel the reservation, requiring you to leave the establishment immediately.
We are at your disposal for any inquiries or requests you may have.
Our priority is to respect the rest and coexistence of all our guests.
