Known as the Eternal Spring Inn in Sierra de Ibio, this small rural hotel has been elegantly restored while maintaining the essence of a typical 17th-century mountain house, next to a medieval tower dating back to the 15th century. The complex retains its original appearance, preserving the charm of its traditional Cantabrian architecture, maintaining the original stone walls and century-old oak beams, creating an ambiance and decor that allows for rest and comfort in our establishment.

The estate is situated in the green heart of Cantabria, along the Northern Way of Saint James, and next to the largest natural park in Cantabria, the Saja-Besaya Natural Park. Nestled in nature, it is only 12 minutes away from the main beaches of the Cantabrian Sea.

It is the perfect countryside accommodation to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Here, you will find a refuge to reconnect with nature during your rural getaway.

La Posada Sierra de Ibio is located in the center of Cantabria, in the municipality of Mazcuerras, within the nature reserve of the Saja-Besaya one of the most pleasant and welcoming places in the region, where you can practice mountain sports, hiking, trekking, canoeing, river canoeing, horse riding, etc.

We are located a few kilometers from the beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera, Suances and Comillas.

Very close to must-see cultural sites like Santillana del Mar (recently proclaimed Capital of Rural Tourism 2019), the emblematic building El Capricho by Gaudí architech, the world heritage caves of Altamira, those of El Soplao, or the nature park of Cabárceno. Towns declared as the most beautiful in Spain as Bárcena Mayor, Carmoma or Potes.
